Introduced in 1992, the first Compaq Contura was the 3/20. It featured a 386SL Processor running at 20MHz, 2MB of Ram, 40 or 84MB Hard Disk Drive, Monochrome display, MS-Dos and Windows 3.1. It had a 3 1/2 Floppy drive and attachable side trackball for the mouse.
The 3/25c featured a 386SL Processor running at 25MHz, 4MB of Ram, a 40MB or 120MB Hard Disk Drive and the biggest difference was the color display.
Later models starting in 1993 featured a faster 486SL Processor running at 25MHz, 4MB of Ram, 120MB or 200MB Hard Disk Drive, MS-Dos, Windows 3.1 and later the historic Windows 95. The first 4/20 still had a trackball off to the side but later it was built in the computer
